The cannon loupe for Diana has carved wooden oars over 8 meters long, so the platform can be rowed just like its role models in the late 18th century. Usually two people use one oar. Sluup’s rowing practice in the waters near Suomenlinna and Vallisaari offers great views of the fortress islands and, above all, an exciting adventure for a group that wants to challenge their team skills and get the ship moving with muscle power.<\/p>\n

The duration is about two hours. There should be at least about 16 rowers. Group size up to 30-40 people. Good basic fitness is required to participate in rowing. You can start the trip from Suomenlinna Artillery Bay or Halkolaituri from Pohjoisranta. The oars are lowered into the water at sea and then traveled by rowing.
